The Polish Society for Aesthetic Dermatologists (PSAD) was founded in year 1999 by the initiative of a small, 38-person group of dermatologists interested in aesthetic problems of the skin. Today, our organisation consists of almost 400 of the best dermatologists specialised in aesthetic dermatology. Most of us carry out private practices, in which we perform procedures using the most up-to-date and globally known methods.
It was us - the Society - who strengthened the position of aesthetic dermatology by constant education of our milieu.

Every year we organise numerous symposia and workshops. Over 1000 physicians each year take advantage of such forms of education (which are verified by the In-service Physicians' Training Centre of the Regional Medical Council in Warsaw), and by attending our meetings they receive education points.

We dynamically act in the international forum. We represent Poland in the European Society for Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology (ESCAD), and our members automatically become members of the ESCAD.

We are invited as lecturers to international conventions. We take part in meetings and workshops, and we pass on this knowledge and experience from the best European institutes during our trainings.
Dynamic growth of aesthetic dermatology on one hand results from skills and knowledge of our physicians, and on the other hand from creation and education of our potential patients. Which brings us to the constant contact with press and media specialised in the subject matter of health and beauty.

"Pearl of Aesthetic Dermatology", which is a contest awarding the best products used in aesthetic dermatology and dermocosmetics chosen by the physicians, became renown both in the physicians' milieu and among companies, for which this recommendation is a confirmation of their products' quality.
The activities of the Society also consist of publishing "DermaNews", which is a guide to the most important events in our domain. We publish there reports from our meetings, interviews with specialists and lecturers.

Our initiative also brought to being the "Ekspert Anti-Aging" magazine for our patients, with articles written by physicians - members of our Society. The articles discuss issues of aging of skin and the whole organism (both prophylaxis and recovery proceedings).
